Will & Ollie’s Big City Love – Wedding at Manchester Hall
Some wedding days just stick with you. Not because of the weather (although we lucked out with some glorious sunshine), or the venue (a wedding at Manchester Hall always delivers), but because of the people. And Will & Ollie? They’re my kind of people, funny, authentic and just enough sass!
From the moment I arrived, the energy was electric. Will and Ollie – both looking slick as anything in their sharp black and white suits – were full of grins, nerves, and that kind of can’t-sit-still excitement that only a wedding day can bring. These two are seriously head over heels for each other, but what I really loved was how much they laugh. With each other, at themselves, with their friends – the whole day was filled with joy, banter, and big love vibes.
Before the ceremony, we grabbed a bit of time to wander into the city for a portrait session. Shooting around Manchester is always a win, but when you’ve got a couple like these two who are up for a laugh and trust you to just go for it, the magic happens. We found a few hidden corners, made the most of the sun and shadows, and had a right laugh.
Manchester Hall ahead of the wedding was buzzing. Friends and family had turned out in full force, ready to celebrate – and they did not disappoint. You could feel how loved Will and Ollie are, how many people have cheered them on, and how ready everyone was to party. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful – heartfelt and personal with a few laughs – and when they walked back down the aisle as newly weds hand in hand, confetti got thrown absolutely everywhere, so much colour, so many cheers, and two very happy husbands absolutely glowing!
One of the highlights? Heading up onto the roof of Manchester Hall soon as they were married. There’s something pretty special about seeing the city stretched out below you, with two people so clearly made for each other standing side by side, taking it all in. It was a moment of calm in a day full of celebration – and it felt like the perfect time for a little pause and reflection before the party kicked off properly.
And oh, what a party. The food – Greek style, was absolutely delicious and the DJ wasted no time getting the dance floor packed. We’re talking bangers from the get-go, the kind of tunes that get everyone up and keep them there all night long. Will and Ollie barely left the dance floor – surrounded by their people, soaked in happiness, living their best lives.
There’s something magical about a city wedding – the energy, the buzz, and this one had all of that and more. Will and Ollie’s day was a celebration of love in its brightest, boldest form – full of laughter, connection, style, and big city joy. I felt so lucky to be part of it.
Here’s to the kind of love that fills a room (and a rooftop), and the kind of weddings that make your heart full. Will and Ollie, you absolute legends – thanks for having me along for the ride.
