Inspirational 1 day Manchester photography courses to get your creative juices flowing! For all those who’d like to get to know their artistic side a little better and engage in something mindful for themselves.
Maybe you’d like to shoot in manual and be a little more in control or just find a reason to take more pictures! These workshops are suitable for complete beginners, keen amateurs wanting to brush up on their manual skills and even semi-pros who want to learn how to use light more creatively in their images. This will be my 6th year running urban photography workshops in Manchester and they’ve been enormously successful, with many of my attendees going on to earn from their photography and others leaving inspired to make photography a more integral part of their lives.
This course will inspire you beyond what you thought was possible.
The Manchester photography workshops will inspire you to take images you want to put on the walls of your home or in family albums that you’re thoroughly proud of. Whatever you enjoy taking pictures of (and maybe you don’t know what that is yet!) this course will give you ideas, passion and technical guidance taught in a way that isn’t daunting, so that you can begin to feel more confident about picking up your camera. Exposing images correctly and creatively, using aperture, shutter speed, ISO and creative composition will definitely give your photos the edge.

COURSE CONTENT
1.
Welcome and theory.
Start the day with coffee, introductions and a focused photography workshop covering exposure, composition, manual camera settings and the creative approach you’ll use throughout the day.
2.
Indoor shooting then lunch.
Put the theory into practice with some indoor shooting sessions, learning how to work with natural light before breaking for a relaxed lunch together.
3.
Outdoor shooting session with models.
Take your skills outside as we photograph professional models in real city locations, exploring composition, posing and making the most of available light.
4.
Indoor downloading and post production.
Finish the day by reviewing my images and learning a simple editing workflow in Lightroom, with tips on selecting, enhancing and delivering your strongest photographs.
