PHOTOGRAPHY: A FAMILY AFFAIR

I started young. Dad had a lot of old cameras lying around.

I was surrounded people who genuinely lived and breathed the craft. I went on to study photography and fine art, and at the time it was fashion photography that really got me excited. It was expressive, polished, colourful and sometimes a little chaotic, never too perfect, never too serious. I loved the energy, the creativity, the storytelling and the feeling behind every frame. A lot of that still filters through my work today.

“One of the photographers who really shaped the way I thought about imagery was Annie Leibovitz. Her images felt cinematic and expressive, but deeply human underneath all the styling and scale.”

They weren’t just photographs of people, they felt like worlds, stories and emotion carefully built into a single frame. There was intention behind everything, light, colour, composition, atmosphere and human connection. Nothing felt accidental. That influence still shapes the way I approach my work today as a wedding photographer. Whether I’m documenting quiet, natural moments or creating more editorial-style portraits, I’m always looking for more than just what the day looked like. I want my wedding photography to feel immersive. Both my kids have since developed a passion for photography too. It’s very contagious.

FAVOURITE DRINK

coffee

Having a coffee in an amazing coffee shop feels a bit like people-watching heaven to me. Tiny moments, interesting faces, atmosphere and movement. It’s probably why I like photographing people so much too.

FAVOURITE SEASON

spring

I love when the world comes to life again after winter, I can watch the plants in the garden blooming one by one and of course wedding season starts!

MAIN INSPIRATION

fashion photography

Constantly inspired by the artistry of the fashion industry, sometimes editorial style, sometimes a polished look, or the colour… many parts of this come through in my wedding images.

PERFECT LOCATION

ITALY

For me Italy brings to life fashion, food, elegance, architecture, history, nature… and I feel inspired to capture this energy in my wedding photography too.

Drop me a quick question…

“We had photos that captured the spirit of our wedding from start to drunken finish, and we truly felt like we had gained another friend by the end of the day!”
