There is nothing better than spending three full days celebrating your wedding.

Toby and Zara’s Jersey wedding weekender began on the Friday night with a birthday party for Toby, hosted in their own bar. Musicians played while guests gathered around low tables with cocktails and trays of sushi moving steadily through the room. It felt social and unforced from the start. Zara appeared in the first of her outfits for the weekend, setting the tone immediately, confident, expressive and completely herself. Conversations overlapped, plans softened and the night carried on longer than anyone had intended. Day two arrived quickly, bringing bright sun, a few sore heads and a shift in energy as everyone got ready for the wedding.

Zara stepped into her second dress of the weekend as guests made their way to Toby’s mum’s house. The ceremony took place in the garden overlooking the beach, the heat already intense. People laughed, sang and fanned themselves as they waited. When Toby and Zara stood together, the formality dissolved almost instantly. Guests joined in with singing during the ceremony and dancing followed naturally. As they walked back down the aisle, a brass band struck up and led everyone through a confetti tunnel and onto the upper garden terrace. Oysters were passed around, drinks appeared in hands and a magician quietly worked his way through small groups.

The wedding party and family are wonderful, but people love helping deliver your big day, so don’t be scared to cast the net wider.”

Go big or go home! Zara & Toby had an all-out three-day Jersey wedding! Getting married in their family home allowed them to spend more time with guests. They were surrounded by love, sun and laughter, complete with surprises around every corner. Toby changed suits several times, surprise singers came out at the end of the ceremony, a brass band played their instruments underwater at the Sunday pool party, and an unbelievably chaotic first dance… that had to happen twice! Zara & Toby described their day as pure, natural and authentic magic from start to finish.
